I bought it on 11-5 in GA, and received it in MA on 11-8. That was purchased from Achoo Allergy. I assembled it in 20 minutes, including installing filter which I had to cut on the dotted line, without opening the book. I vacuumed five rooms and one hallway with it. It works better than my Electro-Lux ever did. I thought the Electo-Lux was good, but Miele is much better. It’s very quiet but has a very powerful motor. It has more wattage than most manufaturers do. The does a super job, too. The switch is on the handle and is easy to operate. The canister is as easy to handle as a piece of luggage to carry. Its carrying handle is convenient for going upstairs. I bought 3 boxes with 5 vacuum cleaner bags in them plus it came with one installed for me. Bagless vacuums never worked that good for me. The one by Sears was a flop in my book, and I paid big money for it. These bags were $39.75 for 15. That comes out to $2.75 a bag.

The Miele left the house smelling clean and fresh after vacuuming. It did not have that vacuum cleaner smell after vacuuming. Pet odors were gone. It picked up very well. I vacuum regularly but half filled the supplied bag on the first pass. I had to clean the after vacuuming the rugs. Two screws on the bottom of the nozzle head come out with either/or a flat tip or Philips screwdriver. Then just pull on the end a little and it comes apart. I cleaned the cat hairs off the brushes with a pair of scissors. It was very easy to clean.

I paid $799 for the vacuum, but I’m not rich enough to be replacing $500 or $600 vacuums every time I turn around. This is a keeper. There is a seven year warrantee on the motor. It’s quiet but very powerful. Made in Germany. Quality - The best. The standard that they all vacuum cleaner manufacturers try to match. It’s the industry standard since the 1890’s. You get what you pay for.
