When I was looking for a vacuum, I needed something tough since I have two young dogs and a chinchilla. When I purchsed this Hoover, I wasn’t sure it was up to the challenge. I was wrong. The machine is so powerful, I use it in every room of the house. I use it on carpets, hardwood floors and tiles. It actually picked up one of the bathroom tiles - thats how strong it is. It has adjustable settings for whichever surface you’re using it on, which is helpful when you have carpets of different thicknesses. Also, there is a “HUSH” setting when you need to be a little quiet. Another convenient feature on this vacuum is that the handle folds down when you store it so that if you have it in a closet, it sits below the hanging clothes. As for cleaning the actual machine, the main compartment pops out and it easy to empty. The HEPA filter is easy to pull off and wash as well. Lastly, the vacuum comes with some useful attachments. There are two brushes and two extending poles to add to the hose length. I’d definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone with kids, pets or lots of space to vacuum.
