Pros: Inexpensive, Strong suction
Weaknesses: Small Tank, Not Self Heating
For the cost, you can’t go wrong with this steamvac. Once you have it assembled and your really need to take your time and follow the directions to the letter, the stemvac preforms better than expected. Make sure you use very hot water because the unit is not self heating.

A Best Buy

Pros: Ease of use, suction that leaves your carpets lightly damp for drying, separate tank for the dirty water and brush system better than the competitor’s.
Weaknesses: Tanks too small, but this is just a minor problem. Also not the easiest to put together, but take your time and you can figure it out.
Tired of renting a rug cleaner and tired of getting down on hands and knees to use carpet cleaners … all which do not do the job well. I was very happy with the cleaning power of this Hoover, and its suction for picking up the dirty water leaving my carpets lightly damp for drying. Drying only took a few hours and spots that I’ve never have been able to remove with carpet cleaners or rentals were virtually gone. I say virtually … I recommend you use very hot tap water … take your time, and you may need to clean old spots twice.
