Hoover self-propelled Windtunnel U6436900

Pros: Excellent suction. Power hand tool completely picks up doghairs and dirt from furniture. Easy to use.
Weaknesses: Movement with the self propelled feature seems to be somewhat erratic, but I think I will soon get used to it.
I have had this for a week. I could really tell the difference when I used it the first time. The carpet looked so much cleaner - and I love the power tool. The edge brushes also seem to work well. I have read some criticism about the belt breaking easily, but I have not had my long enough to know about that. So far I am very pleased.

Absolutely horrible purchase. Be prepared to vacuum with a screwdriver attached to your side because you’ll need it to unscrew the bottom plate to put the belts back on after they slip off. What a terrible vacuum. Hoover should be ashamed. I am so disappointed. I’ve been to the Hoover store so many times to buy belts and when I tell them the belt keeps slipping I’m looked at as though I’m doing something wrong. Please, please, please do not buy a Hoover Wind Tunnel self-propelled vacuum. Anything would be better than this piece of junk.

EXCLLENT PURCHASE

Pros: very easy to use due to self propelled feature. Lots of power to suck the dust. filters to prvent dust going back in to the air.

I purchased this vacuum cleaner second time to replace current vacuum cleaner that was purchased 8 years ago. This cleaner is very easy to use due to self propelled feature, has lots of power to suck the dust. One of the best feature is the filters that prevents dust going back in to air.
Of course, the price is the best for the performance of this cleaner.

Waste of money

Pros: Picks up well when not in the shop
Weaknesses: Breaks all the time
This stupid thing has been in the shop over 6 times in the year I’ve owned it. I had to buy another to keep around for when this one is down.
It is always broken, the self-propel feature breaks and it sucks itself to the floor and you cant use it. Hoover covered repairs during the 12 months, and one outside the 12 months, but I would expect more from a $300 vacuum cleaner. I could have bought 3 cheapies for the price!
