We have had the vac for about 1 year and generally, it is OK but not perfect. We moved from a house that had hardwood floors to one that has carpeting in all the rooms except the kitchen and 1 bath. Our first purchases were an upright vac for the carpet and the orange Hoover for the small amount of bare floors. We paid $54.11 for this at Best Buy, figuring that this amount was more than adequate for a low-use item.
