Dual function dry/wet operation - can be used to both vacuum dry debris and wet clean non-carpeted hard floor surfaces. Removable brushes and nozzle squeegee - brush assembly and nozzle squeegee easily remove for quick rinse cleaning. Front mounted floor drying squeegee - removes cleaning solution and spills - leaving floor squeegee dry on the final vacuum pass. Dual tank design - a separate solution tank and recovery tank are functionally located for easy viewing, removal and replacement. Translucent solution tank with built-in measuring cup - easy to remove, easy to fill, easy to replace. Two motor system - utilizes one motor to create powerful suction and a second to drive the brush system.

Pros: works better than a wet mop
Weaknesses: their recoomended detergent is not of sufficient strength to really do the job. Get your own, make it strong and add amonia. Also, still need to hands-and-knees some really stubborn areas.
I guess you can’t get a $1000.00 quality machine for only 2 - 3 hundred dollars. But it is better than breaking your back on scrubbing the entire floor. The water container compartment for the waste water has to be refilled very often, at less than 1/3 full, and I can’t understand why they couldn;t do better than that.

Great, but one minor problem ending up with larger problem

Pros: suction power for wet/dry fantastic and for spills and puppy accidents…very easy to use…clean…fill with solutions
Weaknesses: does not seal properly on the solution tank and leaks
Used the very first day and the seal did not work properly…picked up dry and wet perfectly…was truly amazed…but because of the seal… I tried to check with Hoover their web site to see if they would have parts for this unit…to my surprise Hoover did not recognize it as their product…even though the name appears on the machine…I don’t know if the machine was discontinued or brand new…the machine worked much better then I expected…except for the minor leakage problem which means I will be having to return it for a replacement
