This vacuum sucks!

Pros: At first it worked really great on my carpet
Weaknesses: Everything, bare floors, carpets, hose constantly plugged, filter always dirty.
I really wanted to like this vacuum! The first week it vacuumed great, I was thrilled. After that it lost suction. I changed the belts twice already ….the hose isn’t plugged and it still won’t
pick up lint from my carpet. PLEASE DON”T BUY THIS CRAPPY VACUUM!!!! Read consumer reports and pick either the Kenmore Progressive 35922, Kenmore Progressive 36932, (both $300) or the Eureka Boss Smart Vac ultra 4870 ($140)

(I owned a Kenmore for 15 years and never had a problem with suction. )

not worth it

Pros: easy to empty, and easy to change the filters
Weaknesses: the hose always comes unattached from where the duster canister connects then everything the vacuum picks up (which isn’t much) goes flying back all over the floor.
The vacuum worked really well for a while, now it doesn’t seem to pick up much. The sponge filter stays dirty no matter how much i clean it but my biggest complaint is that the hose keeps coming off and flinging dirt everywhere!

Just bought it.. it sucks so far

Pros: Carpets look great after vacuuming
Weaknesses: Bad on bare floors
The vacuum only works well on carpet, on our laminate floor the dirt is spun all over the place, the suction is not strong enough to keep up with the dirt flung past the suction hole. The house ended up looking dirtier and really dusty after vacuuming. I’m returning this vacuum tonight. If you have only carpets I’d say go for it.. but on the bare floors it flings dirt all over the place.
