This is the best small appliance I have ever owned! I have wood floors and 2 young kids, and LOTS of crumbs after each meal/snack. The dirt devil makes clean up a joy– I don’t dread the “aftermath” of meals like I used to.

I own a tile vac with a short cord. I was very excited about purchasing this product because it was cordless and I love all my other Dirt Devil products. My home is 80% tile, 3 cats, 2 kids, and Florida sand. After $50 I am very disappointed. First problem: cat hair, it clogs the filter and hinders what little suction I get to begin with. Second problem: does not work like a broom, using a sweeping motion all you do is push the dirt around. To actually get it to pick up dirt I have to hold it completely upright and at times hover over what I am trying to pick up. It is quicker and more efficient for me to use a regular broom with my hand held dust buster to suck up the piles as I go along.

This is a great little vacuum for the daily stuff. I have hardwood floors and this picks up the crumbs and the dust bunnies that lurk in the corners and under the furniture. It’s also great for that quick once-over just before the guests arrive.

Unless you have an electrical outlet in a closet, you’ll need to store this in an inconvenient place [to keep it out of sight]. The reason to buy it is for it’s convenience factor, so that’s a slight negative.

I still like it and am happy I bought it.

I bought this product after much review/searching on-line. It seemed to meet all my requirements: NO cord, powerful, ease of use, good reviews (wonder who wrote them ?), long charged life when in use….then I brought it home. I found it heavy to use as a broom, (suggested use) , so I resorted to a push/pull method. Suction is great as long as there is NOTHING in the dust bin besides dirt. The filter clogs up quickly when picking up pet hair of which, I have LOTS…and filter is paper(?)Seemed cheaply made for a gadget I paid $60 bucks for. My main complaint was emptying the bin was very cumbersome. The last straw was the gasket between the bin and the motor. It kept rolling down onto the connection point, requiring two hands and maximum effort to get it back together. After a month of frustrated attempts to LIKE it, I returned it to the store for a refund.

Good for what it’s designed to do - “in-between” touch ups. Great for fur and feathers! My dustpan broke, so I initially started looking for a good dustpan. Then found this! I only have hardwood and tile in the house and works great for those surfaces. Love to use if for dog fur from my beloved dog that sheds like crazy year round. Also handy for keeping the area around my 2 cockatiels clean. The suction is adequate to pick up the collected hairballs, lint, etc, but not super strong (i.e. it won’t suck up a penny on the floor, even if you’re right over it). Also works nice on bathroom rugs because I can vacuum over it without it sucking up the mat! Does a great job on corners and around the edges of furniture. Heavier than I expected.

This broom looked like the answer to the daily pick ups between regular vacuuming in our RV. It’s use is to primarily pick up kitty litter around the litter box and crumbs in the kitchen area. It’s weak suction does not pick up kitty litter or larger crumbs. It does work well on cat hair and dust. Very short battery life. The battery starts to die after about 1 minute of use. It’s fully charged, as I store it plugged into the charger.

It will be donated to Goodwill.

It picks up okay, but definitely not great. Have to put in more effort than what should be necessary in order for it to trap the dirt. Also, although my apartment only has 5 rooms, I have to keep it continuously charged in order for me to use it one time to clean all 5 rooms. It’s a big disappointment & definitely not worth $50. Don’t buy it.

I have NEVER LOVED another appliance as much as I LOVE this one!

The broom and dust pan TRULY ARE OBSOLETE!!

My entire house (minus the bedrooms) are tiled and I own three cats!! Sweeping is painful because of the dustpan, and you can’t ever get it all! Vacuuming is no good cause it just blows everything around before you can suck it up!! (the output on vacuums is always in a STUPID place!)

With the broom vac, none of that’s a problem and I use it every single day!!!

I got this for Xmas. Have only hardwood and a dog that sheds. You can see through the dirt cup that the hair gets stuck as soon as it comes through the neck and once it builds up the suction is not good. I also thought it was heavy and awkward to use. It doesn’t seem to have much suction on the sand that the dog brings in.

I bought this online during a blowout sale and was greatly impressed with it. I have a small lab puppy, who in his uncontrollably innocent way sheds all over the house. I hate using a dust pan, there’s always that dirt line you can never sweep up, so getting a sweeper vac seemed perfect. It works great, good suction, I can see where some would find it heavy, and you can’t sweep as fast as you would normally. Overall it eliminates the need for a dust pan, and keeps my linoleum and wood floors hair free!
