Eureka Boss Smartvac 4870 Bagged Upright Vacuum Review I believe!

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

As soon as I got it out of the box, I tore it apart. I was curious about it’s mechanical makeup. I took everything off that could be removed. Everything is made out of plastic (or abs?) which is okay for the big parts. The small parts like the handle to open the storage for the filter bag, the cover to the roller brush and belt, the dust protector for the belt and the plastic retainers that hold the clear tubes could be made, in my opinion, sturdier. The belt is thin and can easily break. Light is almost useless. These are the negative things I could say about this vacuum, but the positive things I like about the vacuum far outweigh any shortcomings.

Dyson DC14 All floors Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum Review The DC14 will make you LOVE to vacuum

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

I must admit that I am a vacuum-aholic. So when I got married a year and a half ago I was so excited to get my very own vacuum. To my dismay, we received a cheap Hoover vacuum, which made this enjoyable task complete torture. The filter was difficult to clean, pickup was awful, I had to change the cord socket every few feet, and the thing was so hard to push that I was actually sweating by the time that I was done…and I only live in a apartment! After forcing my husband to vacuum a few times, we quickly came to the conclusion that we needed a new vacuum.

Hoover Widepath Fold-Away Bagless Vacuum, Model U5175-900

I purchased my Hoover Widepath Fold-Away vacuum at Sears, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the purchase. The primary criteria I was looking for in a vacuum were low cost, lightweight, powerful, and compact. The Hoover Widepath Fold-Away met all these criteria and has exceeded my expectations.

I just used this on my whole apartment, and I’m VERY happy. If you’re the type to mop weekly, then this is probably not going to be up to your high standards. However, if you’re like me, and mopping is a semiannual event, you will be very happy with the ease of use. And your floors are likely to be much cleaner, as you’re more likely to clean them! It’s even kind of FUN to watch the dirt disappear without bending over at all!

Eureka 431A Optima Bagless Upright Vacuum Review Proof that you CAN find excellence at a good price

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

I needed a lightweight vacuum cleaner, but didn’t want to sacrifice power. The majority of cleaners today, it seems to me, derive from a bigger-is-better design mentality. But I have a small cottage, and just wanted something powerful AND small. I bought, then quickly returned, the Electrolux battery-powered vacuum, which was useless on carpet. I exchanged it for this Eureka, and I couldn’t be happier. AND, it was cheap! only about $60! It’s light, compact, and yet it really, really cleans well. The dustbin is very large, and I must have emptied it five times just doing my (which I had just done with the aforementioned Electrolux). Oh, the satisfaction of extracting all of that hidden dirt–and of seeing the carpet truly clean. I only got the Eureka yesterday; I’ll eat my words if it doesn’t hold up. But it seems durable and straightforward. It was a cinch to put together, and doesn’t have tons of “tools” and attachments, which I always lose or don’t want anyway. It’s got one brush attachment for the hose, and it snaps on the unit itself. Plus, the hose is a part of the unit, so you needn’t attach it when you need it (like my old cleaner). The glittery, green veneer is the only thing I dislike about the device–it makes it seem cheap, like some dorm-room vacuum cleaner.

This isn’t anything special; it spits water down on the carpet and then sucks it back up. There is not much more to it except for the brushes at the bottom that drag when it is pushed. The that goes into the tank is really good and does a good job of removing spots and making the room smell fresh again.

Price

After doing the math, I decided if I wanted an expensive I would just rent one and not go through the hassle of storing it.

Dyson DC17 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum Review Fantastic vacuum, my pet hair problems are over

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

First let me say I am thrilled with this vacuum. I replaced a Bissel (not the Healthy Home which I compare the to in this review) and the difference in performance is amazing. Both are “12 amp” vacuums, but the is far superior. The attachment tools are wonder, especially the brush/pet attachment which removes in a jiffy off chairs and couches and even the floor in tight spots.

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

I bought Scooba on the strength of my good experience with Roomba.

Scooba is good. Scooba helps around the house. Scooba does not complain. Scooba is designed well enough to handle what I dish out, including hair from 5 large dogs and a very dusty, gritty homesite near the foothills of the San Bernadino Mountains.

Dyson DC15 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum Review If you have animals and kids…

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews

You need this vacuum. Buy it soon. I have had mine for a year and it is still better than all the other vacuums that I have killed off. I have two kids, two super-sized hairy dogs, two cats and a bird. We have hair, feathers and crumbs hit the floor every day. I vacuum the whole house on a daily basis. This vacuum has been run hard, and it is still as good as the first day. The dirt is easy to dump out, and the filter is easy to clean (when it needs it). I take care of this machine, keep it clean, and I think it will last me a LONG time. The cord is nice and long, the ball makes it easy to move around furniture (or sleeping dogs) and the hose attachments are fine once you get the hang of them. My house is half oak floors and half carpet and the cleans both well. I have never felt my floors were so clean. We also have 12ft ceilings in one room and I can reach up into the corners just fine with the hose. If you are worried about the cost (I was) be assured that it is worth every penny!
