I have two cats that love to spit up so I went searching on epinions for a small carpet cleaner. I had tried just buying carpet cleaner and using a lot of elbow grease with mixed results in the past. Then I found the Bissell SpotBot. It is absolutely amazing!

I did not have any trouble priming it or getting the solution to come out of the sprayer, as I have read in other reviews. Perhaps Bissell fixed the problem…I do know that I used the handsfree mode first, not manual, so maybe that made a difference.

It does use a lot of solution, but it is still worth it. It only needs water and the solution by Bissell called “Little Green” (it’s made for the compact carpet cleaners). You can also purchase OxyGen2 by Bissell which is an oxygenator that really helps get out dye-based stains likes coffee and juice (not necessary for pet stains apparently). I bought both solutions anyway as I didn’t want to take any chances.

The only downside I could see is the level of noise it creates, but even that isn’t that bad. It’s much much quieter than my big vacuum. I’d say it’s about as noisy as your average canister vacuum.

It’s very easy to operate and a breeze to clean afterwards. I highly recommend this!
