We bought the spotbot because we have two dogs who have accidents regularly. We have a carpet cleaner but it is too much work to bring out for every accident…we would just soak up what we could or pick up the poop with a little cleaning. This thing is amazing. It is horribly simple to operate. You just keep it loaded with water solution and you can clean in seconds. It does a thorough job and then beeps at you till you go pick it up. It does such a good job on that one spot that it leaves a nice clean circle in your heavy traffic areas. I have so many clean circles in my house that I have UFO enthusiasts buzzing about my “crap circles” and Mel Gibson is calling me about making a movie!

anyone know how hard it is to get red wine stains out?? yeah, well.. after trying 4 different products, and even a steam cleaner, it was still there. i was at best buy and noticed this little contraption says “gets out set-in red wine stains”. i thought no way - and figured it wouldn’t work and i’d just return it. well go figure, it got it out. i mean, a red wine stain that was set in my carpet for weeks!! another poster cited that the machine didn’t run correctly - i had that happen to me too the very first time, but i just restarted it and it worked perfect. Figured it was just a start-up/warm up thing since it’s brand new. It has worked beautifully ever since, getting out strawberry daquiri stains as well.

This machine may be well known for pet stain removal, but as a person who owns no pets as of now, it is worth every cent to get out red wine stains. now, if i spill a glass, it no longer ruins my night by trying to cleaning it out for hours.

This machine has been great for us as dog breeders. We use it all the time and our carpet stays nice. If I designed the machine I would add a separate container for fresh rinse water. I found that ours was actually leaving spots where it had cleaned and I think there was too much solution left in the carpet. Now that I have had it for a while we have been running the machine with a tank of just warm water after cleaning it with the solution. I also always put a fan on the spot so it dries faster.

I got the SpotBot as a gift. I must say, it works well for spots, even some that are slightly set in. For really set-in spots, it took a few cleanings with the bot to get the stain out, but it worked. This is a great tool for those who have occasional spots to clean. It does clean only SPOTS, not entire carpets. The controls are push-button and very easy to use and rather self-explainatory. It is a convenient way to tend to spots, though the end result may be similarly achieved through getting on your hands and knees and scrubbing. Although I like it, would I pay $130 to get one? Probably not. If it were cheaper I would consider it. It’s a good thing it was a gift.

This little toy will be the best thing you every buy, it will save you thousands of dollars. It easy to use and it works fast. You set it on the spot you want clean up and turn it on and walk away in 10 minutes the spot will be gone. We had dog stains and blood spots on our rugs, we thought the rug we running. We went to our local store and bought it. Brought it home and put it on the spots and turn it on and in an hour or two all the spots in our home was gone it like having a new rug. It can be used by anybody in the house

It does exactly what is says it does! It removes spots effortlessly. Fill the canister with water and solution, please the SpotBot on the stain and walk away. When you get back, the stain WILL be gone. Now, if your carpets are filthy, you will have a 6″ clean spot. But hey, what’s wrong with that?

Bought it at target for 130 bucks. Didn’t really seem to be ‘working’ the carpet at all, it churned for about 5 minutes (one of the brushes looked like a cheap plastic cafeteria fork) and the spray cleaner didn’t even come out. Pretty much a waste of my gas money to go get it. Going to get a real steam cleaner.
