Bissell 79011 Proheat Upright Deep Steam Cleaner

Pros: Easy to assemble

Good power to clean dirts in carpet

I know bissell makes good products. This is my 1st bissell vaccum cleaner. This product has good suction and cleans, extracts dirts from the carpet. Be gentle while cleaning the rugs. It is good to use this deep cleaner once in 3 months instead of hiring carpet steam cleaners.

Finally being fed up of hiring someone to come to the house to clean the carpets, I figured I would try this Bissell. Call me impressed!!!

Having someone come to the house can be costly, and is never convenient. I figured if I had a Bissell in the garage I would clean the carpet a bit more often - at least when it could use a cleaning - as opposed to procrastinating. And if the Bissell works well, I would save some money too.

I read some negative reviews prior to purchasing this, but figured I would give it a try. One common complaint was the Bissell would pick up clumps of hair. All I could say is, the directions CLEARLY say to vacuum well prior to cleaning. If it is pulling up clumps of hair, either you didn’t vacuum prior or it’s time for a new vacuum. If it is pulling up hairs, it tells you about the suction power of the Bissell. And that is a very good sign.

The other common complaint is it breaks after a year. Well, I only have mine a few months, so time will tell. Either way - if you get a few good uses out of this machine, it was still less expensive than hiring someone.

The machine was easy to put together. Using it is as easy as filling the tank with water, filling the other tank with cleaning solution. Turn the machine on. Spray the cleaner, and vacuum. THAT EASY!!! It comes with an extension hose as well - which came in handy for the stairs.

So far so good - I would highly recommend the Bissell ProHeat
